Ki-Luk was trained for a life of conflict. Raised in a small monastary, his early aptitude in the physical arts was enhanced with training in the silent arts. At the age of 15 he joined the Zonderak War Band. His main functions were in scouting and infiltration. The main goal of the war band was the destruction of mind flayers wherever they could be found. Of course, the Illythids had different ideas. The mortality rate for the band was high. After an extended scouting mission looking for a rumored flayer camp, Ki-Luk returned to find band gone. Signs of battle were all around but no bodies were found, even though all the camp’s gear was still intact. The shame he felt over his failure to help in the battle caused Ki-Luk to search for a new way to rebuild his faith in his abilities. He has chosen to redeem himself through the arts of war and battle. Now dedicated to the Kord church and its teachings, he is looking for ever increasing opportunities to prove his mettle. Eschewing arms and armor, he is willing to use whatever skills at hand to achieve the desired goals.
